I’m ************i... but online, I go by Mushisai or MushisaiWorks.
I prefer not to use my real name. staying anonymous helps me avoid the whole “fame syndrome” thing and lets me express myself more freely as an artist and as a character online.
I’m a digital artist who enjoys creating illustrations, comics, and stories. My work mainly focuses on character-based art, but I love exploring different styles and ideas. I also take commissions for 2D Cut-out animation and have worked on a variety of projects, including animated background art and children’s book illustrations.
Right now, I’m working as a freelancer while pursuing my personal dream. Now i mainly drawing and writing comics. My dream is to become a comic creator and game developer. Even if things don’t always work out financially, I’d rather keep trying than give up.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy my work and maybe find a bit of inspiration in it.
A: Nope, I'm not Japanese. I'm still Asian. I don't speak Japanese either, but I'm still learning, only katakana and hiragana so far.
A: Isn't that obvious? Duh. Yeah, I love the Japanese art style, love their creations, anime, manga, some of their music culture as well. You don't need to ask that, aren't you? But I'm not the degenerate one. I love manga and anime for their revolutionary impact on the entertainment industry, so I just wanted to stay on that side.
A: Yes, I use AI ONLY for most of my translations and grammar fixes. Most of the time I'm using Grammarly for my English, so if you find false past tense, please understand that both English and Japanese, or Spanish, are not my native languages. I do respect your opinion about AI, and still, all my art and work is not created by AI, including the story, concept and idea. Everything was purely made by me only. I didn't use AI like most of those, what's the word... FOMO? who ruin art on the internet and steal people's works. Support me bro!
A: I use a Wacom pen tablet to draw my art. For the software part, mostly I'm using Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint for 3D object references, or just making the 3D objects myself using Maya software. For animation, I only use After Effects so far, and my style is always cut-out animation.
A: Yes you can repost my art as long as you didn't modify or remove my watermark. I also do commissions, just contact me through this contact page or reach me out on my social media.
A: I started drawing when I was 10, inspired by manga. I had many comic books back then, Naruto, One Piece, Le Petit Spirou by Tome and Janry (1987), the Batman series, but the most memorable one is The Doraemons (ザ☆ドラえもんズ Za Doraemonzu), a spin-off of Doraemon, serialized by Shogakukan and illustrated by Doumei Tanaka.
A: Yes, you can see my other accounts on my Link Hub pages. Most of the time I use my 3 main platforms and you can see it there. You can use my work for your fanart! Please, if you have a commission with my character consider sharing the revenue with me.
A: Well, I’m not Japanese, like I said. I do love their impact on the entertainment industry. As for art style, I just want to stick with what I can do. Maybe it’ll change in the future, but still, I grew up where I wasn’t exposed to just one style. I read Western comic books, Belgian comics like I mentioned above, Japanese manga, and many other modern works, from comic strips to webtoons.
I don’t like calling different art styles “bad art.” I don’t do that. I’m not you, and I’m not them. To me all arts have the same purpose: making people interested in and hooked on the work that’s been created. I’m not interested in numbers or weekly reader polls. If I like it, I like it... even if, in other people’s eyes, it’s considered a failure. To me, I think that’s the reason why I never stopped loving art.
A: Enough is never enough. I still have a lot of room to improve. I do have a 'special' condition that makes me a slow learner, perhaps because of my past trauma and environment, and also my limitations since I was born into a poor family. I didn't have money to buy drawing books back then, so I'm self-taught, no reference, just pure limited imagination, and I only got access to the things I needed way later than most people. That means the competition around me is tough, as if you are a worm that fell into a bird's den. But I won't stop until I do it.
